Thank you for this! I too love reading novels set in interesting and exotic locations where I have not been. On a separate note… I tend to enjoy fictional novels centered around women and their relationships, their community and their experiences. I’ve noticed a high number of these identify the husband or male lover as the career minded bread winner, head of the household. Does anyone else notice this? I’m hoping the novels you suggested are more in line with our times.
