How do I cancel my membership?
- Log in to your account
- Go to lustre.net/membership-account/membership-cancel
- Click “Cancel My Membership” and follow the prompts
How do I reset my password?
- Go to lustre.net/login
- Click “Forgot Password?”
- Enter your email
- Follow the instructions in the reset email
- Check your spam/junk folder if the email doesn’t show up
How do I change my email address?
- Log in at lustre.net/login
- Go to Account Settings > Profile
- Update the Email Address field
- Click Save Changes
- Confirm the change via the email sent to your new address
How do I update my payment method?
If your payment failed but your membership is still active, you can update your billing info without needing support.
- Log in at lustre.net/login
- Go to lustre.net/manage-my-membership
- Update your billing information
Once updated, your membership should automatically reflect the changes.
What happens after I cancel my membership?
You’ll continue to have access to the Lustre Members Portal until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your membership expires and you’ll lose access to member-exclusive content and features.
Do membership auto-renew? Can I turn it off?
Yes—your membership will renew automatically each year unless you cancel. We’ll charge the same payment method you used at signup.
You can’t manually turn off auto-renewal, but you can cancel your membership at any time. If you cancel:
- Your membership will remain active until the end of your billing cycle
- Your card will not be charged again
Who processes payments? Is it secure?
We use Stripe, a trusted third-party payment processor that securely handles your credit card information. We never store your billing data ourselves.
What’s your community policy?
We’re all about smart, thoughtful conversations. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, spam, or inappropriate content of any kind. Keep it kind, helpful, and respectful—or we may revoke your access.
Having issues with billing or payment?
Please contact us at support@lustre.net before reporting it to your bank! We’ll handle any billing issues promptly.
Can I get a refund?
We don’t offer refunds, even if you cancel mid-year. But you can cancel anytime and won’t be charged again when your year is up.
How do I show up in the Membership Directory?
Once you sign in for the first time, you’ll automatically appear in the directory.
How do I save a Zoom event to my calendar?
- Go to lustre.net/events
- Choose the event you’re interested in and click RSVP
- Enter your email and click Register for this event
- Click “Add Event to Calendar” and select your preferred calendar icon
How do I join a Location Group? How do I use it?
- Visit lustre.net/groups
- Click on the group you’d like to join
- Click the “JOIN GROUP” button
To engage with the group:
- See a list of fellow members
- Click Connect to add someone to your contacts
- Click the envelope icon to message someone directly
- Visit the “Discussion” tab to start or join a conversation
Use the “Send Messages” tab to send a message to the entire group
What Are Lustre Groups?
Lustre Groups are a way for members to connect in person with others in their local area. Each group is organized by city or region.
How do I send a message?
- Click on a member’s profile (you can find all profiles in the Member Directory)
- Click the three dots on the right-hand corner
- Click “Send Message.”
- Start typing your message
- Add more recipients by typing their names in the “To:” section
- Your message will be sent via email to the selected member(s) and visible in their Lustre account under Messages
How do I start or join a discussion?
To connect with other members on a specific topic, visit the Member Discussion Board:
- Click on an existing topic to join in
- Or, start a new conversation by clicking the blue “New Discussion” button
- Note: Messages posted here stay on the board—they aren’t sent to all members via email
To stay updated, click “Subscribe” on the thread to receive notifications
How do I find members?
- Visit the Member Directory
- Use the filters on the left to search by:
- Location
- Interests
- Retirement stage
- Name, and more
- From here, you can:
- Connect with members
- Send them a message
- Encourage them to join your group
