The Lustre Life. Three Great Podcasts. And One About Us.
By Karen and Erica
Our podcasts are up and running, and people seem to love them.
The first podcast is the two of us interviewing each other. Our families found it entertaining!
Next, we interview Rochelle Udell, a legendary media and marketing giant, the first art director for Ms. Magazine, and the creator of iconic ads. Remember “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins”? She’s still going strong.
Julie Saul is our third guest. In the 1970s, when New York City was a wild and crazy place, she founded a successful and influential gallery, representing many who have since become among the most famous photographers and artists on paper. No slowdown for her either—her gallery is going digital.
Up today is Virginia Bayer, who discovered that her grandmother, whom she never met, had been a pioneer textile artist—and was totally forgotten. What did Virginia do? She wrote a book, and started a brand for Margeurita Mergentime, forgotten no more.
Many more to come. One up each Tuesday morning at 7 am.
