Yes, Ladies, You Do Need To Keep Your Heart Healthy.

By Karen and Erica

February is Heart Health month. So, we are bringing you the latest from out partners at the Katz Institute for Women’s Health. Take a look at the Go Red for Women camplaign, and how it has reduced the incidence of heart disease in women. (In the olden days, until about 20 years ago, no-one really thought women could have heart disease. Only men, the titans of industry, had heart disease. Women just had headaches, and were prescribed aspirin.)

The key: know your numbers—like the number of inches around your waist that could spell trouble. Then find out how to avoid that trouble.
