Valentine's Day And The Ox.

By Karen and Erica

Friday begins the Year of the Ox, and ends the Year of the Rat.

Sunday is Valentine’s Day.

What does it all mean?

The Ox is apparently rather stolid. Reliable. Stable. Hard working. Opinionated, but not quixotic. Sounds pretty good after the year we just had.

One of the first things the Ox will do is celebrate Valentine’s Day. Presumably that means the Ox and its mate will have a quiet little evening together. As should you, with your honey.

Apparently the year of the Ox is no time to run off and do something crazy. Next year, the Year of the Tiger, will be different—you can be impetuous. So your honey better be very good to you—all year.

But this Valentine’s Day, just relax and enjoy an evening—outside if you dare, but we’ll be staying in—with some rose champagne, maybe wearing red for luck.

Happy Lunar New Year, and Happy Valentine’s Day.
