Seven Website Newsletters We Like.

We are fond of websites that offer information or a perspective that is a bit off the beaten track. Here are seven favorites:

• Wired/Fast Forward. We like Wired Magazine, and this blog keeps us up to date on developments relating to tech.

• Protocol/Source Code. Also tech focused, with several informative newsletters. Is Davos really doing anything useful on climate?

• Fast Company’s letter is Compass. Always smart and interesting. A 360 degree infinity pool atop a skyscraper? We’re in.

• My Modern Met’s newsletter is full of unusual and beautiful visuals and information. A celestial and massive yarn art installation?

• Dezeen is an architecture and design magazine. Keep up on events and what’s new.

• Atlas Obscura calls itself the definitive guide to the world’s hidden wonders. They have trips to such places. And then there’s Gastro Obscura. Why does the U.S. have a billion-pound stash of cheese?

• How Stuff Works. We like knowing how stuff works. Here, for example, is how proprioception works. You know you have been wondering.
