Meet Our New Beauty Columnist.

Andrea Berman is a beauty expert and founder of The Beauty Maestra, a blog dedicated to providing transformative skin and beauty insight for the over 50 woman. 

Andrea spent over three decades as a successful Technology Sales Executive in Silicon Valley. During most of that time, weekends and evenings were devoted to studying and learning everything beauty. She unofficially became a beauty maestra for friends and family, and the moniker stuck. 

As Andrea entered her 40s and beyond, and saw sparse age representation from the beauty industry, she grew to rely on her own creative exploration and developed her own beauty and skincare style and philosophy. When Andrea retired from her sales career, she knew it was an opportune time to create her life’s next chapter. 

I believe that beauty does not end after an arbitrary birthday and transformative beauty is accessible to each one of us at any age. The beauty goal is not to regret what we no longer have but rather look forward and relish being and becoming our best and most confident selves.

Andrea lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family, and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Mental Illness in San Francisco.
