Savor Your Age.

By Karen and Erica
You are getting older. So is every living person. Savor each moment. And consider these thoughts.
- You are lucky if you are still here after decades of complicated, exciting, reticulated living. Carry on.
- You have assets that only living a long time will give you. Experience and wisdom. And a well-rounded sense of humor. Congratulations.
- Your experience and wisdom are invaluable to those who do not yet have them. Offer them to younger folks.
- The younger run faster. The older know the shortcuts. Tell them the shortcuts. Let them do the running.
- You have more agency than ever. And you know how to use it.
- You’re not climbing the ladder any more. You are creating your own landscape, and will decide for yourself how to move within it.
- You don’t look dewey, as you did when you were a teenager. You look forceful. And layered. And unstoppable. Much better than dewey.
- Some of your parts are a little frayed. That’s the price you pay for the extra decades the third demographic dividend gives you. Do your best to keep the parts functional.
- People who see you as done will find out the hard way how wrong they are. Pity them.
- You are at the forefront of change. Your favorite place.
We want to hear what you have to say.
