We're excited to share an opportunity to join a discussion with the Head of Design from Chapter to learn more about how new technology is designed and to provide feedback to the Chapter team. 

We published information about Chapter a few months ago. Chapter is a new type of technology-enabled Medicare advisor. As they've built their platform, they've learned numerous lessons about designing software to support Medicare-aged individuals.

We were delighted to learn about Chapter because our demographic is obviously interested in Medicare, an otherwise daunting topic, and even more because we loved the idea of a company run by a bunch of young people who understood that technology should enable everyone—not just young people—and therefore those who design technology should speak to people of all ages about its design.

On that theme, Chapter's Head of Design, Paige Womack, will lead a discussion on the lessons Chapter has learned designing software for us as a distinct group of users. The presentation will include an overview of the software design process and a live and wide ranging discussion about your experiences navigating Medicare sign-up to using technology in your daily lives.

The discussion will include:

• An overview of the software product design process

• The evolution of Chapter's product

• Surprises and lessons about user behavior, and how users signing up for Medicare exhibit different behavior than users on other technology applications

• An opportunity for you to share your thoughts and feedback on Chapter's design as well as your experiences signing up for Medicare
